Biography

 

Recently he has been presented in Madrid in a cycle of young talents reaping great success with a program that included works by Boccherini, Schubert and Schumann. 
 
Invited to participate in the British Isles Music Festival, Holland Music Sessions, Rutesheim Cello Akademie, Cervo International Festival, International Music Festival Schloss Kirchberg, playing in the recitals organized by these festivals. 

He was also critically acclaimed in one of the editions of the Villa de Lerma Musical Project, which praised his versatility and fluidity in musical discourse in a recital with works by Schubert, Shostakovich and Mazzacurati.
 
Very committed to contemporary creation, being also a member of the Ensemble Polysono with which he has toured Switzerland and Germany.

He has performed memorable recitals together with his twin sister, in Lerma, Ardingly, Grodno, Bergen, Kirchberg and der Jagst, at the Olivar de Castillejo Foundation in Madrid and at the Vital Foundation in Vitoria. They were also selected by the MusaE cycle to make a Scarlatti monographic program with their own transcriptions for violin and cello of sonatas by that composer.

He was born in Madrid, beginning his cello studies with Suzana Stefanovic, and continuing with Adolfo GutiƩrrez and Michal Dmochowski. From then on he was a pupil of Rafael Rosenfeld, Danjulo Ishizaka and Ivan Monighetti in Basel, where he is settled. He has also been advised by Lluis Claret, Troels Svane, Thomas Grossenbacher, Gregor Horsch and Steven Isserlis.

Awarded in the main spanish competitions and awarded scholarships from Fondation Thorens, DOMS Stiftung Basel, AIE and the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid, while being a member of the EUYO.
His upcoming projects include his debut with Shostakovich's Concerto No. 1 in Belarus, Haydn's Concerto No. 2 in Mexico and the recording of a chamber music program dedicated to Pau Casals.
